NU Life NU Life Wednesday Nights

Ash Wednesday
No NU Life this week

If you ever thought that it would be a cool thing to walk around campus with ashes smeared on your forehead in the shape of a cross, then this is the day for you. We have three Mass times to help you begin the Lenten season right. Join with other Catholics across the city and get your ash on!

Mass Times: 8:30 am at the Catholic Center
5:30 pm at the Fenway Center
7:30 pm at the Fenway Center

ASH WEDNESDAY - FASTING GUIDELINES
Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence. Fasting, in current Catholic practice, is to be observed by everyone ages 18 to 59. On a fast day, unless you have a medical condition, only one full meal is allowed. You may eat two other smaller meals to maintain strength according to your needs, but together they should not equal another full meal. Eating between meals is not permitted, but liquids, including milk and juices, are allowed. Abstinence means that you refrain from eating meat.

RESCHEDULED: PLUGGED IN
SPRING RETREAT 2013!

The Snowstorm postponed our retreat, but that just means we're happy to try to fit more in. Please let us know if the new dates work with your schedule (below).

• What's the cost? The cost is only $50! (that's more than $30 less than last retreat!). This covers all expenses for the weekend: food, lodging, etc. Please note that $10 is non-refundable.

• What to bring? Just bring a snack to share, warm clothes, a Bible, and anything else that helps you pray.

For more information contact Caroline Gunning or Rich Pelosi.

So we hope to see you! Plugged In Spring Retreat will offer talks, skits and student sharings about the amazing variety of ways to make a direct connect with God. If you're looking to get the latest G-app, this weekend is for you.

The Experience of a Life Time.

The March for Life was an awesome display of solidarity and we the CC community are very proud to have brought such a great pack of student pilgrims to endure bitter cold, snow and an all-nighter in the van to raise our voices for those with no voice and no choice. If you couldn't be there with us, enjoy this powerful experience through a short slideshow. Pax.

Our Bible Studies are convenient, on-campus spiritual boosters to get you through the week. Get more out of the Bible with these student-led studies that enable you to pray through scriptures and discover what God is saying to you. Make a little time for faith in the crazy crunch of school.

Times for spring semester are posted!
